At I’ve Got Skills, hereafter referred to as IGS, your privacy is of paramount concern. IGS will not sell, lease, or give your private information to any other third party venders without your specific direction to release said information. Since the essential function of the IGS site is to help you with career direction and planning and is based upon the information you input, we make no warranties and or guarantees as to the accuracy of results. IGS also wishes to point out that information is collected from our users at several different points during your visit to our site.
GUARANTEES
I’ve Got Skills does not in any way GUARANTEE that the results of a career assessment or test will result in a successful, productive or “good fit” career. IGS specifically states that there is no association between the results of a test and the compensation or income of a specific career field. Additionally, IGS makes no guarantee, real or inferred that the results of a test will lead an individual to any level of happiness or career compatibility.
COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
Registration and Fees—The IGS web site is open and available to anyone who wishes to uses its basic resources. However, to maximize the available information, IGS highly encourages a user to register and take the test. There is a fee to take the test which is paid in advance, IGS specifically reserves the right to increase or decrease said fee without prior notice of any kind. According to Texas State Law you have 3 business days to request a full refund of your purchase price, should you so choose. Such requests must be made in writing and sent by certified mail to IGS. However, the same law states that the testing instruments and in this case of special discount codes, must be returned to IGS in substantially good condition for resale. If you have logged into and registered at our testing site and have begun any part of the test, then NO REFUND IS AVAILBALE as there is no way for IGS to recoup the use of the intellectual property that has been used. During registration, a user is required to provide certain categories of information, such as name, e-mail address, a user name, a password, whether they are a student, employed, or in another category, date of birth, gender, and country of citizenship. In addition, a user may choose to provide other categories of information, such as area of work or study. IGS encourages its users to provide all of these fields of information so that users may maximize the effectiveness of our career tools and have the best possible experience at the IGS site.
Time Limits on Testing—IGS specifically points out that although the test is an un-timed procedure that can be stopped and restarted at the discretion of a user, there is a 90 day window to complete the test once registration is completed, not from the date of purchase. Additionally, users will have to retake every section of the test again regardless of how many sections were completed previously.
